YYForce Inc., a Singapore-headquartered workforce and facility management technology provider, has deployed a hospitality service robot from its YY Circle Malaysia operation at Aloft by Marriott Langkawi Pantai Tengah in Malaysia.

The deployment applies YYForce’s strategy of introducing service robotics into hospitality settings, with the robot intended to support hotel teams with routine operational tasks. The hotel featured the robot on its social media account, describing it as a new addition to its team, and posted a video of its introduction on LinkedIn.

Human and robot workflows

YYForce’s approach combines human service staff with robotic assistance in hotel operations. The company said it aims to help hospitality operators allocate employee time more effectively while maintaining personal interaction with guests.

The Langkawi deployment is intended to let YYForce assess how service robotics fit into daily hotel operations. The company said relevant evaluation areas include task completion, reliability, staff adoption and guest feedback, which could inform future deployment decisions.

Mike Fu, chief executive officer of YYForce, set out the company’s thinking behind the deployment.

“Hospitality is built around people, and we see robotics as a practical way to support the teams who deliver that experience,” said Fu. “Our focus is on bringing robots into real operating environments, understanding where they can add value, and developing solutions that work alongside employees. This deployment in Langkawi is a tangible step in that direction.”

Wider workforce strategy

YYForce said it is pursuing opportunities to integrate workforce services and robotics across hospitality and facility operations, focusing on identifying suitable tasks before expanding deployment. The company said experience gained in hotel environments could help strengthen its understanding of customer requirements and implementation needs.

YYForce is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker YFOR and operates across Asia and beyond. Its YY Circle platform supports workforce deployment across sectors including hospitality, food and beverage and retail, alongside its integrated facility management operations.
