Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has unveiled an upgraded outdoor pickleball court fitted with a Krystal Pro surface, which the hotel said makes it the only hotel in Singapore to offer this specialised playing surface.
The court measures 6.1 metres by 13.4 metres and uses a seven-layer cushioned construction intended to improve shock absorption and ball response. The hotel said the non-slip, environmentally friendly surface is built to reduce impact on the body while supporting both casual and competitive play.
The court is available for booking by in-house and external guests, including private lessons as well as casual matches.
Part of a wider active-living push
Peter Draminsky, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, framed the upgrade within the hotel’s recreational offering.
Draminsky described the reasoning behind the investment in the new surface.
“Pickleball has quickly become an important part of our recreational offering, and we wanted to take the experience a step further. The upgraded court combines a high-quality playing surface with the comfort and service our guests expect, creating another opportunity to stay active, connect and enjoy meaningful moments together,” said Draminsky.
The hotel is pairing the court with shower facilities, a sauna and steam room for guests to use after playing.
