CloserStill Media will hold Tech Week Singapore 2026 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 29 and 30 September, with more than 600 regional and international speakers confirmed. The event is themed “The Infrastructure Era” and will focus on infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence, quantum computing and other emerging technologies. Speakers are drawn from organisations including Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Horizon Quantum, INTERPOL, the National Assembly of Serbia and UNICEF.
Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, will serve as Guest of Honour. The opening ceremony will include an address by Tan and a Minister’s Tour of companies and technologies across the event’s co-located shows.
Regional expansion plans
CloserStill Media said understanding differences in how technology develops across Asian markets matters for leaders making investment and infrastructure decisions.
Andy Kiwanuka, Managing Director, Asia Pacific at CloserStill Media, described the event’s role in bringing together different perspectives on regional change.
“Tech Week Singapore brings those perspectives in one place,” said Kiwanuka. “By putting policymakers, technology companies and enterprise leaders in the same conversation, we want to give the industry a clearer view of what is changing across the region, and what those changes mean for their organisations.”
Data Centre World Tokyo 2027 will be unveiled at Tech Night 2026, the event’s networking event on the opening day. CloserStill Media said the launch follows Tech Week Shanghai 2026 and reflects the growing regional footprint of the Tech Week franchise across Asia.
Co-located shows and features
Tech Week Singapore 2026 includes co-located shows Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia, DevOps Live, Cyber Security World Asia, Big Data & AI World Asia and Data Centre World Asia. The Open Compute Project will host OCP Southeast Asia Tech Day at Data Centre World Asia, with speakers from Meta, Google, Micron and NVIDIA.
Steve Helvie, Chief Emerging Ecosystem Officer at the Open Compute Project Foundation, outlined the significance of open standards for infrastructure providers.
“As demand for resilient infrastructure accelerates, open standards are playing a critical role in helping hyperscalers, cloud providers, semiconductor companies, hardware manufacturers and enterprises build future-ready foundations,” said Helvie. “This year, we are excited to host OCP Southeast Asia Tech Day at Data Centre World Asia to bring together tech giants and explore how open hardware, collaborative engineering and next-generation infrastructure design can support the rapid expansion of AI and digital infrastructure across Asia.”
Data Centre World Asia will also run an Exclusive STDCT Tour at the National University of Singapore, showing cooling technologies tested at the Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed. Cyber Security World Asia will host a Live Vehicle Cyber Hackathon across both days, in which participants test vulnerabilities in connected-vehicle systems.
Scale of the event
Tech Week Singapore 2026 will span four floors of Marina Bay Sands, up from previous years. Data Centre World Asia alone will occupy three floors, compared with 1.5 floors in 2025, and will feature 11 pavilions representing seven countries, up from nine pavilions last year.
CloserStill Media said the event is expected to host up to 15 dedicated luncheons across the two days and attract more than 30,000 senior IT leaders and decision-makers.
