YYForce Inc., a technology-enabled workforce solutions and facility management company listed on Nasdaq, has opened a Robotics Training, Data and Experience Center in Singapore. The company said the facility supports humanoid robot training, operational data collection, workflow testing and customer demonstrations across hospitality, cleaning, security, delivery and facility management applications.
YYForce said the centre is designed to translate robotics technologies into customer solutions by drawing on its existing workforce and facility management operations. It is also evaluating Robotics-as-a-Service, robot leasing and managed robotic services as potential sources of recurring revenue, according to the company.
Training environments and data collection
The centre includes simulated service environments for training and evaluating humanoid robots in selected hotel housekeeping, restroom cleaning, banqueting and hospitality support workflows, YYForce said. It also supports testing of collaboration between human workers, humanoid robots and specialised service robots.
Through repeated training and testing, YYForce said it is collecting operational data on navigation, movement, object interaction, task execution and environmental conditions. The company said training and demonstration activities do not establish that humanoid robots can yet perform complete housekeeping or restroom-cleaning duties autonomously.
Commercial pathway still under evaluation
YYForce said the centre is intended to support a commercialisation pathway covering training, workflow testing, customer demonstrations, proofs of concept and, where viable, commercial deployment. Potential applications named by the company include hotels, commercial buildings, residential developments, retail premises and warehouses.
The company said it has not yet announced material revenue attributable to its proposed robotics business models, and that the centre’s opening does not represent an announcement of material robotics orders or contracted recurring revenue.
Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YYForce, described the purpose of the facility.
“This center provides a dedicated working environment to train humanoid robots, collect operational data, and evaluate service robots prior to customer deployment. We see clear opportunities to develop recurring service relationships through leasing and managed robotics, while rigorously testing each application against performance and cost requirements,” Fu said.
Fu also set out how the company views its longer-term direction.
“Our 2030 vision brings people, AI, and robotics together to elevate how services are delivered. We will pursue that vision through practical applications and disciplined commercial execution,” Fu said.
